Entering its 27th year, the global independent media agency is sharpening its focus on growth, corporate strategy and operational discipline as it works to become the world’s most trusted media agency.
New York, NY, August 31, 2026 — Today, Crossmedia, announced the evolution of its executive team to position the business for its next era of growth. Entering its 27th year, the global independent media agency is sharpening its focus on growth, corporate strategy and operational discipline as it works to become the world’s most trusted media agency.
Crossmedia has named Ali Plonchak Chief Growth & Corporate Strategy Officer, a newly created role that brings together new business, marketing and corporate strategy under a single growth mandate. A Crossmedia leader for more than two decades, Plonchak previously served as Chief Operating Officer, giving her first-hand insight into how the agency was built, how it has evolved and where it can grow next.
Crossmedia has also expanded Bobby Singh’s role from Chief Financial Officer to Chief Financial & Operating Officer (CFOO), expanding his oversight to include both the financial discipline and operating model that will enable the agency’s next phase of global growth.
The leadership changes reflect Crossmedia’s belief that independence is no longer simply a different ownership model. It’s a different way of building an agency. As marketers seek partners that are more accountable, more transparent and quicker to adapt, Crossmedia is investing in leadership that turns client demand into new capabilities while preserving the transparency and trust that have defined the agency for more than 26 years.
“Independence is only an advantage if it makes you more useful to clients,” said Kamran Asghar, Global CEO & Co-founder of Crossmedia. “Our ambition is to be the world’s most trusted media agency. That requires more than great work. It requires leadership that helps us grow with discipline and build the kind of business that clients can rely on for the long term. Ali and Bobby play a critical role in the next stage of our evolution.”
Plonchak’s move from operations into growth and corporate strategy recognizes where opportunity is coming from today: clients asking for broader strategic partnerships, new areas of expertise and solutions that move as quickly as their businesses do. She will lead new business and marketing while shaping Crossmedia’s strategy for new capabilities, strategic partnerships, market expansion, and future investments.
“The biggest growth opportunities come from listening to what clients need before the industry has a name for it,” said Plonchak. “Our job is to turn those signals into capabilities, partnerships and smarter ways of helping clients grow while staying true to the independence our clients expect from Crossmedia.”
Singh, who joined Crossmedia in 2025 as Chief Financial Officer, will now oversee the financial and operational framework that allows Crossmedia to grow globally without sacrificing the agility, accountability and culture that distinguish independent agencies.
As CFOO, Singh will oversee how Crossmedia plans, invests and scales its business, ensuring the agency can expand its capabilities while maintaining the operational discipline and client focus that have earned clients’ trust.
“Sustainable growth isn’t about adding layers of process,” said Singh. “It’s about creating an operating model that gives our teams the clarity to move faster, make better decisions and continue delivering the level of partnership our clients expect from us.”
The appointments are part of Crossmedia’s long-term growth strategy, with both Plonchak and Singh partnering closely with Crossmedia’s Global CEO, Kamran Asghar, and President, Anne Bologna, as the agency continues to expand across the U.S., Europe and Canada. As more marketers seek alternatives to legacy holding-company models, Crossmedia is investing in the people, capabilities and operating model that allow it to grow without compromising the independence, transparency, and trust that have defined the agency since its founding.
